Styling Tips for Fine Hair

 

Kinky hair, although the most fabulous by far :), is not the easiest to maintain.  It tends to be dry, it is susceptible to breakage, it shrinks at the thought of moisture, and it usually has a mind of it's own.  To add insult to injury, many of us have to contend with super-fine hair, which holds many challenges in and of itself. 

What is fine hair, you ask?  Good question.  When we talk about fine hair, we are talking about the circumference of the individual strand of hair.  The best way to illustrate it would be to take a piece of thread, and take a piece of yarn, and compare the two.  The thread would represent fine hair, while the yarn would represent what is referred to by many as "coarse" hair.  One's thin (fine) and one's thick ("coarse").  Here are a few do's and don't for working with fine hair:
