Ignorance is alive and well in the TwitterVerse. I was disgusted to learn about the malicious comments being floated around Twitter about Beyoncé and Jay-Z's beautiful baby girl, Blue Ivy. There was a lot of slick talk about the baby's hair, and the fact that Bey let it flow in it's natural state.
Comments ranged from mildly offensive to down right ignorant.
I won't post any here.
Who in the world hurls insults at a 1 year old? Clearly someone with the IQ of a jar of relaxer. Pick on someone who can actually talk and defend themselves!!!
Why are people so afraid of natural hair? So full of self-hatred and malice, they cannot look beyond this child's kinky hair to see a happy little girl with 2 loving parents who have laid the world at her feet.
These fools out here are the same ass-clowns who, instead of congratulating Gabby Douglas for becoming the 1st black woman to win an all-around individual gold medal in the Olympics, ridiculed her because her hair didn't fit their standard of what was appropriate. It makes me sad, and it makes me sick. Eff those people, and their self-loathing asses. -YB
